Alfie 'H' Simmons was 'born sleeping' in the Princess Anne wing at the Royal United Hospital, Bath on Saturday, September 10th, 2011 at 10.37pm. He is loved by all around him and will never be forgotten. The impact he made on the people in the delivery suite on that Saturday night is immeasurable and he continues to make major impacts on all of our lives.

I haven’t been up to your hill for a long time 'cause I am waiting for new knees. Aunty Emily is swimming 5 k in the sea to raise money for Sands to help other mummies and daddies. She has to keep increasing the total as people keep donating more and more.

Thinking of you lots today Alfie, it’s coming up to your 10th birthday, just thinking of how much of a brilliant big brother you would have been to your newest sibling, Oscar, he’s only little but he’s already met you once. Even though at 10 you probably wouldn’t be interested, you would have taught him so much. Forever in my heart and thoughts darling, love you always xxx

Happy Birthday darling Alfie....11 Years have passed and you are always in my heart....HM Queen Elizabeth II died a couple of days ago and the country is in mourning....so this is a sad weekend for me for many reasons....You probably know you have a little brother...Oscar...he is a monkey but a little darling much like I imagine you would've been.
