Me and your mum and some other family members gathered at just before 10.37pm, one month since you arrived. We lit a candle and put away a few drinks for you little man. We also tried to light a Chinese lantern, but the wind was too strong and in trying to get it lit, we ripped the bugger. Anyway we all had a good laugh as it skittled sideways and back to front, bobbing all along the sea shore. It was actually very poignant and symbolic watching it finally subside and observing the waves slowly put out the burning light. Gone, but not forgotten.
